症状
- NetWorker server was migrated to a new host with the same hostname/IP address as the previous server. The old server is offline, no longer accessible on the network.
- The new server has had NetWorker software upgraded from NetWorker 8.x to 18.x or later.
- Server is disabled with the following alert in the NetWorker Management Console (NMC) "Error: Server is disabled, duplicate enablers"
- Legacy enabler-code model in use.
原因
Two CLP-Update licenses were created. Since there is two, the server is disabled. Duplicate license cannot be deleted from the NMC.
解决方案
Delete one of the CLP update licenses with the following procedure.
- Create a copy of the \nsr\res\nsrdb directory.
Linux: /nsr/res/nsrdb
Windows: <INSTALL_DRIVE>:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\res\nsrdb
- Collect bootstrap info:
mminfo -B - Collect a copy of all licenses applied from nsradmin (offline mode)
nsradmin -d path_to_nsrdb_dirshow name; enabler code; auth codeprint type: nsr license
- Delete one of the "CLP Update Licenses"
print type: nsr license; name: "CLP Update License"deleteyesno(One of the CLP update licenses is kept)quit
- Restart NetWorker services:
Linux:
nsr_shutdown
systemctl start networker
Windows:
net stop nsrd && net start nsrd
