Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
   
4. Remove the:
   1. WLAN card
   2. WWAN card
5. To remove the cables:
   1. Disconnect the camera and tune cable [1, 2].
   2. Peel the aluminum foil until the folding line.
   3. Remove the screws that secure the metal plate and lift it away from the computer [3, 4].
   4. Peel the adhesive to access the display cable and disconnect it from the connector [5].
   5. Disconnect the touch-panel cable from the computer [6].
   
6. Lift to separate the palmrest assembly from the display assembly.
   
7. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the computer [1].
   2. Slide the display assembly to release it from the computer [2].
