Removing the Keyboard

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Remove the keyboard trim.
  4. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard to computer.

  6. Lift and turn the keyboard to access the keyboard cable.

  7. Lift the latch to disconnect the keyboard cable from its connector on the system board.

  8. Remove the keyboard from the computer.
