Removing the Solid State Drive (SSD)

  • NOTE: Your system can accommodate either an SSD or PCIe SSD and not both.
  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. To remove the SSD:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the SSD to the computer [1].
    2. Remove the SSD from the computer [2].Figure displaying removing the SSD from the computer.
