Removing the Audio Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Disconnect the audio-board cable from its connector on the system board [1].
    2. Remove the screw that secures the audio board to the computer [2].
    3. Remove the audio board from the computer [3].
