Removing the Camera

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. display assembly

    4. display bezel

  3. To remove the camera from the display assembly:
    1. Disconnect the camera cable from its connector on the display assembly [1].
    2. Pry the camera to remove it from the display assembly [2].
