Procedure

  1. Peel the tape that secures the camera cable to the system board and disconnect the camera cable.
  2. Peel the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.
  3. Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.Image: Removing the display assembly
  4. Open the display at an angle of 90 degrees.
  5. Remove the two screws (M2.5x2.5) that secures the hinges to the palm-rest assembly.Image: Removing the display assembly
