Dell Client Device Manager Data Collection Policy

Introduction

Dell Client Device Manager (DCDM) is a unified application with modular deployment capabilities, which are designed to simplify the management of Dell client systems.

DCDM also collects telemetry data proactively from your systems and provides system utilization insights. The telemetry data is always encrypted and then collected on-the-box. The collected information is then sent to Dell Technologies to improve the customer experience.

NOTE: DCDM does not collect personal data such as usernames or passwords. However, if you consent to collect the data, the on-the-box data is transmitted back to Dell. With a telemetry data viewer, you can see what information is transmitted back to Dell.

For more information about Telemetry Data Viewer, see Using Telemetry Data Viewer.
