Omconfig set controller mode

Table 1. Omconfig set controller mode. The following table describes the process to set the mode of the controller to RAID or HBA.

Description

Sets the mode of the controller to RAID or HBA.

Syntax

omconfig storage controller action=setcontrollermode controller=id mode=raid|hba , where id is the controller ID as reported by the omreport storage controller command.

  • NOTE: If a virtual disk, hotspare, or encryption key is enabled on the controller, the controller mode cannot be changed to HBA. Reboot the system for the change to take effect.

Example to

Set the controller mode to HBA.

omconfig storage controller action=setcontrollermode controller=1 mode=hba
