Removing a cooling fan
Prerequisites
NOTE The procedure for removing
each fan is identical.
- Remove the cooling shroud.
- If required, remove the cooling shroud.
Steps
- Disconnect the power cable from the power connector on the system board or power interposer board.
- Lift the fan out of the cooling fan bracket.
