Introduction
This document provides procedures on how to manage PowerFlex rack, PowerFlex appliance, or Powerflex software through PowerFlex Manager.
The target audience for this document includes Dell Technologies customers and services.
This document provides information for PowerFlex nodes that are configured with erasure coding, mirroring, or both protection schemes. When content is specific to a single protection scheme, the applicable method (erasure coding or mirroring) is explicitly identified in the section title. If a section title does not specify a protection method, the content applies to both erasure‑coded and mirrored configurations.
Erasure coding is supported with PowerFlex core software 5.0.x and above. Mirroring is supported with PowerFlex core software 4.5.x.
SupportAssist is now known as Dell Technologies connectivity services. References in the documentation will be updated over time.
