Removing the Power-Connector Port

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
    3. keyboard trim
    4. keyboard
    5. optical drive
    6. primary and secondary hard drive
    7. palmrest
    8. I/O board
    9. display assembly
  3. Disconnect the power-connector cable from the system board and remove the power connector port from the computer.
