Introduction

The Dell PowerFlex 4.5.x and PowerFlex Manager 4.6.x Software Install and Upgrade Guide describes how to deploy a new instance of PowerFlex 4.5.2 and above and PowerFlex Manager 4.6.x. It also provides instructions to upgrade deployments to PowerFlex 4.5.2 and above and PowerFlex Manager 4.6.x.

Use this guide only for PowerFlex software installations and upgrades. PowerFlex rack and PowerFlex appliance customers should not use this document for installations or upgrades. To deploy PowerFlex 4.5.2 and above and PowerFlex Manager 4.6.x, go to Install.

To upgrade an existing PowerFlex 4.5 or 4.5.1 system, go to Upgrading from PowerFlex 4.5.x (core and management) to PowerFlex 4.5.x (core) and 4.6.x (management) .
