Procedure

  1. Close the display and turn the computer over.
  2. Turn the system badge over and place it on the base cover.
  3. Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.

  4. Using your fingertips, gently pry the base cover off the palm-rest assembly.
