Download Enclosure Management Module Firmware

Description

This command downloads firmware for the enclosure management module.

Syntax

download (allEnclosures | enclosure [
                                 enclosureID])
                                 firmware file="
                                 filename"

Parameters

Parameter

Description

enclosure

Identifies the enclosure to which to load new firmware. Enclosure ID values are 0 to 99. You must put brackets ([ ]) around the enclosure ID value.

You can use the following parameters:

The allEnclosures parameter, which downloads new firmware to all of the EMMs in the storage array
The enclosure parameter, which downloads new firmware to a specific EMM. If you need to download new firmware to more than one EMM, but not all RAID controller modules, you must enter this command for each storage array.

file

File path and file name of the file that contains the firmware image. You must put quotation marks (" ") around the firmware image file path and file name.
