OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter Version 5.0 User's Guide
Set up Network Time Protocol servers
You can use Network Time Protocol (NTP) to synchronize the OMIVV appliance clocks to that of an NTP server.
- On the APPLIANCE MANAGEMENT page, click Edit in the NTP Settings area.
- Select Enabled. Enter the hostname or IP address of a preferred and secondary NTP server and click Apply.
- After configuring NTP, start the terminal console and select the Sychronize date and time over the network check box.
NOTE It might take around 10 minutes for the OMIVV clocks to synchronize with the NTP server.
