How to replace the Wireless Module (WLAN) on a Latitude 3520

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Wireless Module (WLAN) and a Latitude 3520. The procedure will also include removing the Base Cover, Battery Cable Disconnect, WLAN and reinstalling them.
Removal
Base Cover
Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover.
Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover from the recesses located near the hinges.
Lift the base cover away from the system.
Battery Cable Disconnect
Wireless Module (WLAN)
Identify the wireless module (WLAN) highlighted in blue.
Remove the screw that secures the bracket to the wireless module.
Lift the bracket off the wireless module.
Disconnect the antenna cables (black and white cables) from the wireless module.
Slide and remove the wireless module out of the slot.
Install
Wireless Module (WLAN)
Identify the wireless module (WLAN) location highlighted in blue.
Insert the WLAN into the connector on the system board.
Connect the black cable to the auxiliary (black triangle).
Connect the white cable to the main (white triangle).
Align the screw hole on the bracket with the screw hole on the WLAN card.
Install the screw that secures the WLAN and bracket to the system.
Battery Cable Disconnect
Base Cover
Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.
Install the base cover and press the edges and sides until it snaps into place.
Tighten the screws to secure the base cover to the system.
