SA (SupportAssist) FAQ
If you get stuck with SA (SupportAssist) or need any help, let our users know here in the forum. There are just a few steps to consider prior posting.
- Check the manuals SA for PCs
- SA uninstall/reinstall
- Watch our webinars (dell.com/webinars)
- Post your device type in subject line together with the main concern (e.g. XPS 15 9575, SA stops working)
- Describe as detailed as possible the issue you're facing
Changing the startup type for Dell SupportAssist Remediation Service from Automatic (Delayed start) to Manual seems to fix several issues.
* Press Windows key + R
* Type services.msc [press Enter or click OK]
* Find and open Dell SupportAssist Remediation
* Change Startup type: to Manual
* Click Apple- OK
* Restart the PC when done
MyDell not updating. Update the My Dell Fusion Service.
