ESRS Proactive Testing
Does anyone know if EMC proactively tests the ESRS connectivity on a periodic basis? We know that it is setup correctly right now, but what if the EMC NOC loses visibility to it for some reason? I am wondering if there is a periodic process where EMC checks to make sure that they can still "see" the customer's devices via ESRS. Otherwise, when something happens the alert might not get through.
Thanks!

The ESRS application at your site periodically verifies the connectivity status for all managed devices (exact times vary by product). If there is a lapse in connectivity, a Service Request is automatically generated for "device missing" and EMC Customer Services will proactively reach out to you.
