XPS 15 change Home and End keys to Fn + Left and Fn + Right
Hi everybody!
I find the "home" and "end" keys in the upper right corner of the keyboard rather annoying.
Can I reassign them respectively to "Fn + Left" and "Fn + Right"?
I use a Dell XPS 15 9500.
Thank you!

They did fix it in 9x10 models BIOS 2.0, so the issue imo is only for 9300/9500/9700. I dont believe there will be a firmware update for these laptops tho Its an awful lot of disrespect towards their clients

Please remove the 'Solved' flag until Dell comes with a real solution.

You can install AutoHotKey and use this script:
^Left::Send {Home}
^Right::Send {End}
^Up::Send {PgUp}
^Down::Send {PgDn}
It will assign CRTL+Up/Left/Down/Right to PgUp/Home/PgDown/End. Put it to the windows autostart and you're done.

Just did a firmware update and still not solved. How is this not a priority given the feedback?

Maybe you missed info from Dell. I got official reply with information this feature wont be added and there is no plan to add it in the future. Bad luck ...

Sure
And it is also bad luck for DELL, that I have decided not to buy any DELL laptop after 20 years or 7 laptops any more from them. I am very disappointed - quality is getting worse for each model and price is getting up. A 2k laptop should not have any of this problems!
I think companies like "Framework" will make a lot more sense in the future.
Linus has made some nice videos on youtube about them

Just had a pretty hilarious email from Dell. They want me to continue my service contract When they have already failed to support me over this breaking issue why should I bother paying for something they don't do?
Goodbye Dell. The XPS line has been my faithful companion for the last decade or more, but I'll be looking elsewhere now.
