
Sam Grocott
Senior Vice President of Product Marketing
Sam Grocott is the Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at Dell Technologies. In this role, he oversees all infrastructure, client, and services product marketing for customers and global partners, with a primary focus on AI. Product Marketing encompasses various critical GTM activities, including product launch, competitive intelligence, thought leadership, customer engagement and pan-Dell messaging on AI, as-a-Service, Multicloud, Modern Workplace and Edge. Sam also leads the product management team responsible for driving AI modernization across many of Dell’s content tools.
Sam embarked on his career with Isilon Systems in 2001, where he led Product Management and Marketing and played a pivotal role in bringing Isilon’s first products to market in 2003, creating the storage industry category of “Scale-out NAS,” and taking Isilon public with a successful IPO in 2006.
Following EMC’s acquisition of Isilon in 2010, Sam expanded his role to include all emerging technology marketing, including scale-out file, object and block storage, as well as new technology acquisitions in storage and cloud for EMC.
Upon Dell’s acquisition of EMC in 2016, Sam’s responsibilities expanded to encompass the entire Dell Infrastructure, Client and Services portfolio for Marketing.
