Migrating data can be daunting—unless you’re using Dell Migrate. Our tool makes transferring files fast and painless, with no need for technical expertise. 

Review prerequisite to start your data migration

On your old PC

    Step#1

    Download and install Dell Data Assistant the engine behind your migration.

    Step#2

    Run Dell Data Assistant
    The tool will perform necessary prechecks and notify you if any requirements aren’t met.

On your new Dell PC

    Step#1

    Find and open Dell SupportAssist

    Type SupportAssist into the Windows taskbar search box. Can’t find SupportAssist on your PC?

    Download it here.
  2. 02

    Step#2

    You’ll see a Dell Migrate banner.

    A banner will ask, "Would you like to start using Dell Migrate?" Select "Yes" to continue to the Dell Migrate page.

    Click: Let’s get started
