1. Ownership Transfer (including "Amazon Marketplace" and eBay)

There are two main reasons to change the original registered ownership information:

  1. Ownership has changed – you have recently purchased a new or used Dell EMC product
  2. Your Dell EMC product has been permanently relocated or moved to another country
  • Dell EMC products purchased from 3rd party resellers on Amazon Marketplace (even if "Fulfilled by Amazon") and eBay (or similar sites in your region), please submit an Ownership Transfer request, described in the corresponding section.
  • If the Dell EMC product was purchased from Amazon directly, i.e. - "Sold by Amazon" you should follow the Dell Product Registration process to register your product
  • By purchasing your product directly from Dell EMC your system is automatically registered.
  • For traveling purposes of less than 6 months follow this link for service contact details.

For permanently relocated systems (6 months or more), the service contract purchased for a system at point of sale (POS) is valid only in the country in which the system was purchased. Upon request, Dell EMC will transfer the service contract to its new location provided that the service is available in the destination location, Return to Depot, Complete Care, Same Day, and Parts Only contracts are not always available for transfer outside of the region the coverage was purchased in. Please review your contract agreement for more information.
