PERC ECC Memory Errors

Older PERC firmware versions may experience ECC memory errors. Updating to the latest firmware resolves this, but you must perform a cold boot after updating.

Some older PERC firmware versions may experience ECC memory errors. To avoid this, update to the latest firmware. Please note that after updating you must perform a cold reboot.

A warm reboot or system reset will not activate the updated memory settings, and the errors may still occur. Cold reboot the system to fully complete the update.
