To remove the solid state drive. 2230 half. Loosen the eight screws on the base cover. Pry the cover off the system to remove it. Find it. Unplug the battery cable. Identify the solid state drive and loosen the two captive screws. Remove the latch and unscrew the screw. Lift the drive out of the system and flip it over. Remove the screw to fully disconnect the drive.
To reinstall the solid state drive. 2230 half. Tighten the screw. Flip the drive over and place it back in the system. Tighten the screw and relax the drive. Install the two captive screws to secure the drive. Plug in the battery cable. Place the base cover back on the system and secure it with the eight screws.
