When dealing with mobile devices, battery life is always a good topic to cover. No one likes having their device run out of power. Here are a few tips on how to get the most time out of your battery charge.
Display settings can be adjusted to increase battery life by turning down the brightness of the screen. You can turn off your tablet's WiFi and Bluetooth feature when not in use to save battery life.
To turn off your WiFi, swipe down from the top right-hand corner, and tap WiFi. This will take you to the settings screen where you can toggle the WiFI on and off by tapping the toggle.
You can turn off your Bluetooth settings the exact same way. Simply swipe down, tap Bluetooth, then tap the toggle on and off next to Bluetooth.
Just like your regular computer, having apps running in the background uses resources and can drain your battery's charge. Tap the recent apps button toward the bottom of your screen.
Apps running in the background will pop up on your tablet's screen. You can swipe up and down to cycle through the tiles. To close an app, simply swipe the tile off the screen, to the right.
Repeat this procedure for other apps you wish to close. Another helpful tool for getting the most out of your battery charge can also be found in your settings.
It is called battery usage. At the top, you will see the battery's percentage charge And it's estimated time it has left until it is depleted. Underneath, it shows you what processes and apps are currently running and how much of a charge they are pulling on the battery.
