Procedure 1. Run the utility to start the firmware update process. 2. On the first screen, if the target SSD is not listed, select it and then click Update. The next screen is a warning message. It states the risks and reminds user to back up important files before proceeding. 3. Click OK to proceed. Firmware upgrade proceeds. When the firmware upgrade process completes, you are prompted to reboot the system. 4. Close all open applications, and save your work before rebooting the system. The system reboots and loads the firmware. Once the firmware update is complete, a message saying the firmware update done is displayed. 5. Sign in to the operating system. 6. To confirm that the firmware update was successful, open Device manager > open SSD> click Properties> choose hardware ID under Details and check the firmware version.
