CloudIQ Overview

CloudIQ is a cloud-based application that leverages machine learning to proactively monitor and measure the overall health of Dell IT infrastructure through intelligent, comprehensive, and predictive analytics.

Metrics Browser Removal

The Metrics Browser feature in CloudIQ is being removed and all functionality is being migrated to Report Browser. Existing reports created in Metrics Browser are automatically being migrated to Reports Browser.

Go To All Metrics Button

For systems and objects that support the “Go To All Metrics” button on the performance page, the user was previously directed to the Metrics Browser, where performance charts were automatically created for each supported system or object level performance metric.
With the removal of Metrics Browser, the user now selects the “Create Report” button. This directs the user to the Report Browser where the system or object performance charts are automatically created.

PowerVault and XtremIO

The “Create Report” button is not available for PowerVault and XtremIO storage systems. Users who want to see all system level performance metrics for these storage types can go to the Report Browser and manually create a line chart for each of the available performance metrics. See the following examples for recreating the system level performance charts for these platforms.

The following screenshot shows an example of creating report content for all PowerVault system level performance metrics. This recreates the action of the “Create Report” button for PowerVault.
