The system generates the following alert:

  • PPDMA DM5510 Alert EVT-ENCRYPTION-00007

Cause

Encryption Key Validation Failure

The EVT-ENCRYPTION-00007 alert is generated when the system cannot validate the encryption keys required for data access:

  • Encryption keys are unreadable or corrupted, preventing successful validation.
  • Failed validation locks the file system, restricting access to encrypted volumes.
  • Key corruption can result from hardware faults, abrupt power loss, or storage media degradation.
