Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection統合は、vProxyアプライアンスを使用して構成されています。  vProxyは、NMC(NetWorker管理コンソール)に正常に登録されましたが、vProxyに対するすべてのバックアップ セッションが失敗します。  バックアップ セッション ログには、次の内容が表示されます。 
"Backup has FAILED:  Unable to find identity (MORef) of vProxy's virtual machine: Unable to determine network interface"

Cause

vProxyは、IPアドレスが割り当てられていない2枚目のネットワーク インターフェイス カードで構成されます。

rootユーザーとしてifconfigを実行すると、IPアドレスのないNICが表示されます。

Resolution

オプション1:
IPアドレスのないネットワーク インターフェイスを削除し、vProxyを再起動します。  

オプション2:
未使用のNICを設定します。NVP vProxy：vProxyアプライアンスのネットワーク インターフェイス設定を手動で変更する方法
