Symptoms

De beveiligingsintegratie van NetWorker VMware is geconfigureerd met het vProxy-apparaat.  De vProxy is geregistreerd in de NetWorker Management Console (NMC), maar alle back-upsessies mislukken met de vProxy.  Het logboek van de back-upsessie toont: 
"Backup has FAILED:  Unable to find identity (MORef) of vProxy's virtual machine: Unable to determine network interface"

Cause

De vProxy is geconfigureerd met een tweede netwerkinterfacekaart waarvoor geen IP-adres is toegewezen.

Als u ifconfig als rootgebruiker uitvoert, wordt de NIC weergegeven zonder IP-adres.

Resolution

Optie 1:
Verwijder de netwerkinterface zonder IP-adres en start de vProxy opnieuw op.  

Optie 2:
Configureer de ongebruikte NIC: NVP vProxy: De netwerkinterface-instellingen van vProxy Appliance handmatig wijzigen
