Symptoms

NetWorker NVP(VMware Protection) vProxy 어플라이언스를 통해 수행된 VM 백업이 다음으로 실패합니다.

Cause

vProxy는 백업 전에 VM 마이그레이션(스토리지 vMotion)을 비활성화하려고 시도합니다. 하지만 vCenter Server는 이미 VM 재배치를 비활성화하는 옵션으로 설정되어 있습니다. 이 옵션은 사용자 또는 NVP를 사용하여 이전 백업과 같은 애플리케이션에서 설정할 수 있습니다. NVP에 의해 설정된 경우 백업이 끝날 때 플래그를 지워야 하지만 백업이 종료되지 않으면 이 정리 절차가 실패할 수 있습니다.

Resolution

문제를 확인하는 단계:

  1. 관리자로 vProxy에 로그인한 다음 root: sudo su - root로 전환합니다.
  2. bin 디렉토리로 변경  
    cd  /opt/emc/vproxy/bin
  3. 아래 명령을 실행하여 라이브러리 경로를 로드합니다. 
    source ../unit/vproxy.env
  4. 'vmconfig' 툴로 마이그레이션이 비활성화되어 있는지 확인합니다.  
    ./vmconfig -c info -k "vm-MOREF" -l moref -p Password-for-vCenter -u username-for-vCenter -v vcentername

참고: 'vm-MOREF'를 NMC로 이동하려면 'show message' 및 'Get Full log'를 클릭합니다. 여기서는 'vm-1311'과 유사한 MOREf가 표시됩니다. 자세한 도움말을 보려면 './vmconfig'를 입력합니다.

Migration Enabled가 'false'인 경우 아래 해결 방법을 계속 진행하십시오. 마이그레이션이 'true'인 경우 추가 진단이 필요할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 해결 방법을 적용할 필요가 없습니다.


해결 방법:

"enable-migration"을 사용하여 vmconfig 툴을 실행하여 수동으로 마이그레이션을 활성화합니다. 
./vmconfig -c "enable-migration" -k "vm-MOREf" -l moref -p **** -u username -v vcentername
예: 
./vmconfig -c "enable-migration" -k vm-94 -l moref -p *** -u administrator@vsphere.local -v 10.1.2.3

Additional Information

NVP vProxy: 백업이 간헐적으로 실패하고 "VDDK Error: 18000: 호스트에 연결할 수 없습니다."
