Symptoms
Affected Systems:
- DD6400
Network Card (NIC) cannot be configured or accessed.
The System generates an Alert (ENVIRONMENT-00049) reporting 'an invalid hardware configuration':

Cause
Additional and or Optional cards were purchased for other Dell products and installed into the DD6400 by mistake.
The list of supported NICs is provided below. 
NOTE: QLogic 41164 (PN: 0HY9T) is NOT supported.
NIC Part Numbers for Slot 5,7,8 are:
- DDJKY or PGRFV: "CRD,NTWK,4X10G,SFP+, INTEL"
- HN7J7: "CRD,NTWK,DP,INTEL,25G,SFP"
- K5V44: "CRD,NTWK,10G BASE-T,QP,INTEL"
Resolution
Power-off the DD Unit and remove the unsupported Network Card/s.
Replace them with Supported NICs.
