Cause

The error is due to an interface conversion panic when a Windows VM has RDM disks.

Resolution

 Affected versions: This issue occurs on PowerProtect Data Manager version 19.19-0.15 

 Fixed Version: Upgrade your PowerProtect Data Manager to 19.20

 Workaround: 

1. SSH to the PowerProtect Data Manager appliance as the admin 
2. Elevate to the root.
3. 

cd /opt/emc/vproxy/unit
 


4. 

vi vproxy.env
 


5. At the end of the file, add the entries.

DISABLE_FETB=true
export DISABLE_FETB
 

Save the changes.

6. Restart the vproxyd service with the command.

systemctl restart vproxyd
