Resolution

The uninstallation process differs between Windows and Mac. Click the appropriate operating system for the steps to uninstall Dell Data Protection | Secure Lifecycle.

Note: The Dell Data Protection | Secure Lifecycle installer must be downloaded prior to performing these steps.
 
  1. Right-click the Windows start menu and then click Run.

  1. In the Run UI, type appwiz.cpl and then press OK. This opens Programs and Features.

  1. Double-click Dell Data Protection | Secure Lifecycle.

  1. Click Next to proceed.

  1. Accept the terms in the license agreement and then click Next.

  1. Select Remove and then click Next.

  1. Upon removal, click Finish to close the UI.

  1. Click Yes to reboot the machine.

  1. From the Apple menu, click Go and then select Applications.

  1. Locate the Secure Lifecycle icon in your Applications list.

  1. Drag the Secure Lifecycle icon to the Trash icon.

  1. Enter the credentials for an administrative account and then press OK.
