Symptoms

升级到 PowerPath 6.0 后，某些磁盘被标记为离线。

Cause

使磁盘联机或脱机的是 Windows 功能，而不是 PowerPath。

Resolution

用户应运行以下命令来解决脱机问题。 
san policy=onlineall

Dell PowerPath 和适用于 Windows 的 PowerPath/VE 系列版本 6.0 发行说明 给出了磁盘联机或脱机行为作为 PowerPath 的限制：  

在 Windows Server 2008 及更高版本上，首次将磁盘添加到主机时会标记为脱机。
用户必须手动启用这些离线磁盘，然后才能使用它们。
要避免此问题，请在 diskpart 中运行以下命令：san policy=onlineall。
此命令将系统配置为使新 SAN 驱动器保持联机状态。

对于 Windows Server 2008 及更高版本和 Windows Server 2008 R2，默认 SAN 策略为 OfflineShared。
Windows 功能使磁盘联机/脱机，因此上述限制令人困惑。

总而言之，在从主机端添加并扫描物理磁盘后，伪设备显示为或离线，并且 PowerPath 会对其进行控制（现有在线磁盘将在线）。

Change it using..

DISKPART> san policy=OnlineAll

then list the disks using..

DISKPART> LIST DISK

if any disk shows Offline, select that disk and clear the attributes.

DISKPART> select disk Disk#

Disk# is now the selected disk.

DISKPART> ATTRIBUTES DISK CLEAR READONLY

Disk attributes cleared successfully.

DISKPART> attributes disk
Current Read-only State : No
Read-only : No
Boot Disk : No
Pagefile Disk : No
Hibernation File Disk : No
Crashdump Disk : No
Clustered Disk : No

DISKPART> ONLINE DISK

DiskPart successfully onlined the selected disk.
  • 通过磁盘管理将磁盘状态更改为联机。
可以使用 POLICY=OnlineAll 进行设置来解决此问题，但必须清楚的是，如果磁盘在服务器之间共享，则可能会导致数据损坏。建议用户使用正确的 SAN 策略来保护其数据。
