PPDM: vSphere-installatiebundelimplementatie mislukt met foutcode 'ABV0032'

Tijdens het implementeren of bijwerken van PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) vSphere Installation Bundle for Transparent Snapshot Data Mover (TSDM), mislukt de configuratietaak met foutmeldingen die vergelijkbaar zijn met de volgende:

ABV0032: VM Direct Engine is unable to configure protection for the host "ESXi Host" on vCenter "VCenterName"

In het gedeelte met foutdetails wordt een foutbericht gemeld dat lijkt op het volgende:

Unable to install vSphere Installation Bundle on host "ESXi Host". vCenter task is failed with /usr/sbin/esxupdate returned with exit status: 15

Op de vCenter-server is storagescan vereist. Zonder die foutmelding worden soortgelijke foutmeldingen gerapporteerd in het logbestand 'esxupdate' op de Broadcom ESXi-host:
