Symptoms

NWUI-serveren er installert på en Linux-plattform.

Oppdaterte NetWorker Runtime Environment (NRE) og fulgte dette med et nreconfig.sh skript. 
# rpm -Uvh /root/nre-linux-8.0.15.rpm
# /opt/nre/nreconfig.sh
Serveren ble startet på nytt, eller NWUI startet på nytt.

Når NWUI startes, mislykkes pålogging med:

Cause

NWUI-serveren er avhengig av NetWorker Authentication Service for brukerkontogodkjenning og godkjenningstjenesten på JAVA (NRE). Oppdateringen av NRE fjerner konfigurasjonsfilene fra /opt/nre/og oppretter dem på nytt med nye fingeravtrykk. Nye fingeravtrykk har innvirkning på NWUI-konfigurasjonen. Derfor må nwui_configure.sh-skriptet kjøres på nytt.

Resolution

  1. Stopp NWUI.
# systemctl stop nwui
  1. Kjør NWUI for å konfigurere skriptet på nytt, og behold gjeldende nøkkellager og database.
# /opt/nwui/scripts/nwui_configure.sh

Specify the host name of the NetWorker Authentication Service host [nw-server1.vlab.local]:
Specify the host name of the NetWorker Server to be Managed by NWUI [nw-server1.vlab.local]:
Specify the AUTHC port for Networker Server which is managed by NWUI [9090]:
The NetWorker Web UI Server requires a keystore file to configure encryption and to provide SSL support.
EMC recommends that you specify a password that has a minimum of nine characters, with at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number and one special character.
Do you want to use the existing keystore /nsr/nwui/monitoring/app/conf/nwui.keystore [y]? y
Specify password for the existing keystore:
The install will use the existing certificate "emcnwuimonitoring" for nwui services.
A database already exists in /nsr/nwui/monitoring/nwuidb, do you want to retain this database [y]? y
The installation completed successfully.
  1. Start NWUI
# systemctl start nwui
  1. Logg på NWUI på nytt. Det skal fungere som forventet.
