Symptoms

NWUI-servern är installerad på en Linux-plattform.

Uppdaterade NetWorker Runtime Environment (NRE) och följde detta med ett nreconfig.sh-skript. 
# rpm -Uvh /root/nre-linux-8.0.15.rpm
# /opt/nre/nreconfig.sh
Servern startades om eller NWUI startades om.

När NWUI startas misslyckas inloggningen med:

Cause

NWUI-servern är beroende av NetWorker Authentication Service för autentisering av användarkonto och autentiseringstjänsten på JAVA (NRE). Uppdateringen av NRE tar bort konfigurationsfilerna från /opt/nre/ och skapar dem igen med nya fingeravtryck. Nya fingeravtryck har en inverkan på NWUI-konfigurationen, vilket innebär att skriptet nwui_configure.sh måste köras igen.

Resolution

  1. Stoppa NWUI.
# systemctl stop nwui
  1. Kör NWUI reconfigure script och behåll aktuellt nyckellager och databas.
# /opt/nwui/scripts/nwui_configure.sh

The NetWorker Web UI Server requires a keystore file to configure encryption and to provide SSL support.
EMC recommends that you specify a password that has a minimum of nine characters, with at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number and one special character.
Do you want to use the existing keystore /nsr/nwui/monitoring/app/conf/nwui.keystore [y]? y
Specify password for the existing keystore:
The install will use the existing certificate "emcnwuimonitoring" for nwui services.
A database already exists in /nsr/nwui/monitoring/nwuidb, do you want to retain this database [y]? y
The installation completed successfully.
  1. Starta NWUI
# systemctl start nwui
  1. Logga in på NWUI igen. Det bör fungera som förväntat.
