Symptoms

QUERY TGT,STATUS,DEVICE-kommandoen returnerer RC=0 når et av PowerMax-systemene i TGT er frakoblet.   
  
QUERY VDG-kommandoen returnerer RC=0 når VDG inneholder enheter som er slettet fra PowerMax-systemet.    

zDP Definition Utility er oppdatert for å angi endelig returkode basert på MAX_RC og alvorlighetsgraden for advarselen/feilmeldingen.
                                               
Hvis en enhet ikke finnes på et PowerMax-system, vil enhetsoppføringen i QUERY-utdataene bli merket med "*".      
A new message will also be issued:                           
EIP0287W/E VDG , SYMM , some devices were not found on the controller

Dette skyldes et programvareproblem.

  • For mainframe Enablers 8.5 er PTF SF85107 utviklet for å løse problemet. Det er tilgjengelig for nedlasting fra Dells kundestøtte på Internett.
