VPLEX：分散式裝置發生效能問題

Symptoms

主機在 VPLEX 分散式裝置上遇到高寫入延遲。

 

Cause

若為分散式裝置，VPLEX 會先確認所有寫入 I/O 均認可至兩個站台的後端儲存裝置，再將確認傳回主機。

如果群集間 FC/IP WAN 網路遇到擁塞，則 I/O 數據包的往返時間會增加。此增加會導致效能問題。

另一方面，如果資料可用，VPLEX 一律會從全域快取或本機後端陣列提供讀取 I/O。

VPLEX 的最佳實務指出，為獲得最佳效能，VPLEX 叢集之間的 RTT 不應超過 5 毫秒。若為校園範圍的網路，RTT 不應超過 1 毫秒。

 

Resolution

  1. 檢查韌體記錄是否有指出網路壅塞的 com/21 和 com/24 事件。

    範例：

  2. 確認所有 WAN COM 連接埠均已啟動，且 SFP 功率大於 200 uW。如果沒有，請依照 KB 文章進行： VPLEX：0x8a45901c，IP 連接埠偵測到沒有接收電源或0x8a453013，IP 網路連結中斷 （可能需要 Dell 支援登入）

  3. 如果 VPLEX 是 FC Metro 組態，且 WAN FC 交換器由 Dell 支援，請依照下列 KB 文章操作： Connectrix 交換器：如何收集交換器記錄 （主要） （可能需要 Dell 支援登入）。收集交換器記錄，並聯絡 Dell 支援。

  4. 如果 VPlex 是 IP Metro 組態，請驗證 IP 網路健全狀況，以判斷造成壅塞的原因。
