Symptoms

主机在 VPLEX 分布式设备上遇到高写入延迟。

 

Cause

对于分布式设备，VPLEX 会确认所有写入 I/O 都已提交到两个站点上的后端存储，然后再向主机返回确认。

如果群集间 FC/IP WAN 网络遇到拥塞，则 I/O 数据包的往返时间会增加。此增加会导致性能问题。

另一方面，VPLEX 始终从全局高速缓存（如果数据可用）或来自本地后阵列的读取 I/O 提供服务。

VPLEX 最佳实践表明 VPLEX 群集之间的 RTT 不应超过 5 毫秒，以获得最佳性能。对于园区范围的网络，RTT 不应超过 1 毫秒。

 

Resolution

  1. 检查固件日志中是否存在指示网络拥塞的 com/21 和 com/24 事件。

    示例：

  2. 确认所有 WAN COM 端口均已启动，并且 SFP 功率大于 200 uW。如果没有，请遵循知识库文章： VPLEX：0x8a45901c、IP 端口检测到未接收电源或0x8a453013、IP 网络链路断开 （可能需要戴尔支持登录）
