Instructions
To reboot a Connectrix MDS series switch, run the following commands to save config and reload.
WARNING: THIS IS A DISRUPTIVE PROCEDURE! ALL FIBRE CHANNEL (FC) TRAFFIC IS DROPPED ON THIS SWITCH WHILE THE SWITCH RELOADS!
WARNING: THIS IS A DISRUPTIVE PROCEDURE! ALL FIBRE CHANNEL (FC) TRAFFIC IS DROPPED ON THIS SWITCH WHILE THE SWITCH RELOADS!
- Save the configuration:
copy run start
- Wait for the configuration save to complete.
- Once the configuration save is completed, reload the switch:
reload
