Instructions
In order to put a node into maintenance mode manually through SSH:
- Step 1: SSH to the node as a root.
- Step 2: use the command "esxcli system maintenanceMode set -m noAction -e true"
If the node didn't complete to be in maintenance mode, then go and power off the virtual machines through vSphere client.
