Comment installer NetWorker Module for Databases and Applications (NMDA) for Oracle sous Linux.

L’installation de NMDA sous Linux pour les sauvegardes de base de données Oracle se compose de deux étapes.   

• Installation du logiciel à l’aide d’un RPM
• Liaison de la bibliothèque Oracle NMDA à Oracle  

1. En tant qu’utilisateur root, exécutez la commande RPM et assurez-vous que NetWorker lgtoclntet le package Extended Client lgtoxtdclnt sont installés sur l’hôte Oracle. 

   rpm -qa |grep -i lgt
   lgtoclnt-19.14.0.0-1.x86_64
   lgtoxtdclnt-19.14.0.0-1.x86_64
   

2. Vérifiez que le processus d’arrière-plan NetWorker nsrexecd est en cours d’exécution et démarrez-le s’il n’est pas opérationnel.

   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]# ps -ef |grep -i nsr
   
   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]# systemctl start networker
   
   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]# ps -ef |grep -i nsr
   root      434734       1  1 15:59 ?        00:00:00 /usr/sbin/nsrexecd

3. Décompressez et extrayez votre bille tar NMDA précédemment téléchargée.

   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# gunzip nmda19401_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# ls
   nmda19401_linux_x86_64.tar
   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# tar -xvf nmda19401_linux_x86_64.tar
   LGTO_METAFILE_linux86w_nmda.mf
   lgtonmda-19.4.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm
   sd_products.res
   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]#
   

4. À l’aide du programme d’installation RPM, installez le logiciel NMDA.

   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# rpm -ivh lgtonmda-19.4.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm

   Depending on the database or application that you want to protect
   with NMDA, there might be additional postinstall steps you have to
   perform. Refer to the NMDA installation guide for instructions.
   
   ***  Important Information for Configuring NetWorker Module backups   ***
   -------------------------------------------------------------------------
   You can now start the NMC Backup Configuration wizard to configure the backups.
   To start the wizard:
   1. In your web browser, go to the URL of the console server
      http://nmc_server_name:9000 (the default port is 9000).
   2. Log in to the console server.
   3. Select the appropriate server name, click Launch NetWorker Administration
      in the right pane to start the NetWorker Administration interface.
   4. Click the Protection button, right-click Clients in the left pane, and
      select New or New Client Wizard from the menu.

5. Devenez l’utilisateur Oracle (l’utilisateur propriétaire du $ORACLE_HOME et créer un lien symbolique vers la bibliothèque NMDA.

    su - oracle
    cd $ORACLE_HOME/lib
    ln -s /usr/lib/libnsrora.so  libobk.so

     8. Vérifiez que vous pouvez allouer un canal SBT à l’aide de la nouvelle NMDA bibliothèque, en se connectant à RMAN et l’exécution d’un script simple.
