Instructions

See the attached ADMe Install-Upgrade-README.pdf attached below documenting revised install and upgrade procedures.

As of ADMe build 19.52 and higher, these revised procedures pertain to both new deployments and when upgrading a historical ADMe already located in /atoadmin.

ADMe build 19.52 and higher also requires an updated ADMe Web-UI file as mentioned below.

The latest ADMe file versions (as of 2023-02-03) are:

  • ADMe Core File: 19.69a
  • ADMe Web-UI File: 1.0.67

There are two procedures, install and upgrade. Be sure to only follow the appropriate steps for your scenario:

  • A brand new installation
  • An upgrade from a previously installed ADMe prior to version 19.52
    • Use when ADMe is already installed in /atoadmin

Additional Information

The ADMe tar file is packaged as a .zip file containing the standard ADMe .tar file and a README file named ADMe-Install-Upgrade-README.pdf also attached here documenting the two distinct scenarios install or upgrade.

The existing ADMe User Guide installation instructions are no longer valid regarding the install path to use, and a revised ADMe User Guide is now available at Avamar: ADMe Supplemental Material.

It is also available to the end user from the ADMe Web-UI Dashboard tab.

Original home path: /atoadmin

New home path: /home/admin/admeadmin

The latest ADMe .tar and .war files must be placed into the new home path which is manually established for both an install or upgrade as documented in the README file below.
