Cause

Under en nodeudvidelse henter VxRail Manager (VRM) alle IP-oplysninger fra de eksisterende noder. I dette tilfælde er ipv6 deaktiveret på en eller flere nodesider, hvilket medfører, at VRM ikke henter oplysningerne. 

Eksisterende VxRail-klyngenoder skal have nedenstående vmks og vmk0 aktiveret med ipv6:

Resolution

Sådan løses problemet: 
 

  1. Log på vSphere. 
     
  2. Gå til ESXi –>Konfiguration –>VMkernel-adaptere –> vmk0 i "VxRail Management-XXX"-netværket. 
     
  3. Rediger indstilling af vmk0 -> Gå til ipv6-indstillingssiden -> vælg "Hent IPV6-adresse automatisk via routerannonce."

  4. Gå til siden "IP-indstillinger" på vmk0, og kontroller med det forventede output: 
  5. Prøv handlingen Tilføj vært igen.
