Assist the user with performing a Health Check on their VMAX3 / PowerMax via EMC Unisphere for VMAX / PowerMax.

Solution

Once logged into EMC Unisphere for VMAX 8.x GUI, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the VMAX3 Serial Number where a Health Check should be run.

  2. Click on System (blue tab at the top).

  3. Under the Health & Maintenance box at bottom left, click on Health Check.

  4. Click on the Run button on bottom left to start the script.

The Health Check will take approximately 5 minutes to complete, after which presenting a list of tests and results.
