Symptoms

  • NMM(NetWorker Module for Microsoft) SQL 백업은 SQL 클러스터에 대해 수행됩니다.
  • 백업이 SQL 트랜잭션 로그를 잘라내지 못하며 워크플로 로그에 보고된 다음 메시지와 함께 백업이 전체로 승격됩니다.
Unable to find any full backup of the save set "xxxxdb1.dell.com:MSSQL" in the media database. Recommending that a full backup be performed.

Cause

코드 변경 사항이 버전 19.7.0.x에 도입되어 이 문제가 발생했습니다.
NetWorker가 역방향 조회를 비활성화합니다. 하지만 클러스터 관련 코드는 가상 호스트 이름 대신 가상 IP 주소를 사용합니다.

Resolution

해결 방법: 

다음 옵션 중 하나를 사용할 수 있습니다.

1. NMC에서 SQL 클러스터의 가상 호스트 이름의 별칭에 가상 IP 주소를 추가합니다.

참고: 별칭 필드는 클라이언트 속성의 "Globals(1/2)" 탭에서 찾을 수 있습니다.
2. NetWorker 서버 및 클라이언트의 /nsr/debug 아래에 "enable_rdns_lookup"라는 빈 파일을 생성합니다.
