Symptoms

De syslog-foutmelding mist de interface waar de opdracht vandaan kwam en de ongeldige opdrachtcode ontbreekt.

 %FCNS-3-BAD_FRAME: %$VSAN 99%$ : Invalid CT command code

Found in code NX-OS 8.1.1

De broninterface ontbreekt ook voor de foutmelding in show fcns internal errors:

Cause

Cisco-bug - CSCvs19448

Dit gebeurt wanneer het aangesloten apparaat een ongeldig FCNS Opdracht.

Resolution

De syslog is aangepast om de ongeldige opdrachtcode, de FCID en de interface als volgt op te nemen:

 switchname %FCNS-3-BAD_FRAME: %$VSAN 1%$ : Invalid CT command code[0xfef7] from device[0xea0000], interface[fc1/14]

Een soortgelijke wijziging is aangebracht in het bericht in show fcns interne fouten.

Fix:
Upgrade naar NX-OS 8.42 en hoger
